Start-up with plastic waste recycling solution wins top prize at ideasinc 2020 – a nationwide start-up challenge by NTUitive

Magorium, a Singaporean start-up that has come up with an innovative plastic waste recycling solution which converts plastic waste into road additives, won the top prize at the nationwide ideasinc 2020 competition held last Saturday, 10 October 2020.

                                      

Insect Feed Technologies and MO Batteries came in second and third place respectively. Insect Feed Technologies, farms black soldier flies through their insect farming company, as an alternative animal feed, while MO Batteries wants to facilitate the transition from petrol-ridden motorbikes to electric-ridden ones.

The three winning teams won cash prizes totalling (SGD) $35,000 including access to privileges associated with being part of the University’s innovation and enterprise ecosystem, including but not limited to its networks, acceleration programmes, incubation facilities, grants and mentoring programmes.
