Dr Gesch provides consultancy for technology transfers to small and medium enterprises (SME) in Green technology focussed microsystems.For over 28 years, he was Professor at University of Applied Sciences in Landshut, Germany in semiconductor technology and circuit design.Presently he is working on smart building management systems, energy storages and solutions to be applied to tropical areas.

Sharoul Jambari has gained various experiences in education industry, government agencies and private sectors. He has gained also substantial industrial development and supply chain experiences as a project developer, having served in various companies over the past 20 years. His experiences include maintenance, manufacturing, R&D and consultation across industries such as automotive, aerospace, maritime, ICT and O&G industries.
Currently, He is a Head of Strategic Business Development at Technology Depository Agency (TDA), Malaysia in charge of International and Domestic Strategic Business development, ICP Intelligent Data Management System (I2DMS) and System Integration Center of Excellence (SiCOE). Sharoul and the team have successfully managed and organized the GOCA Knowledge Sharing Session (KSS) for the Government Offset Authorities globally.
Sharoul Jambari obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2019 specialization in Green Composite for Ballistic Application.

Dr Abdul Rahim Hamid currently a research fellow at NUS, obtained his doctoral degree from the National University of Singapore as well as a professional Master of Landscape Architecture Degree from the University of Melbourne in 2002. He focusses on Urban Ecology, Landscape Ecology, Remote Sensing & GIS, Landscape Planning, Landscape Architecture, Southeast Asian Urban History and Heritage. An eminent speaker, He has given the keynote address at various International Conferences and published a journal on Greening Cities: Forms and Functions. Springer: Singapore. He has practised as a Landscape Architect in several firms in Singapore and Sydney, working on design and planning projects in Australia, China, India and Singapore
Dr Terrence Tan
Research Fellow, NUS
Dr Terrence Tan is a research fellow in the National University of Singapore, Department of Building. His research focuses on urban greenery (vertical and rooftop greenery, indoor plant lighting requirements, tree selection) and the development of a scientific landscape design framework to improve thermal comfort and mitigate the Urban Heat Island effect. His work on urban greenery has been presented both in local and international conferences, as well as being published in international journals such as Building and Environment, Energy and Buildings and Landscape and Urban Planning. He is the founder of Urban Green Lab, which specializes in providing greenery outreach to primary and secondary schools in Singapore through educational workshops.
Dr. Sheila Conejos

Dr. Sheila Conejos is a Research Fellow in the Department of Building at the National University of Singapore. She earned her PhD in Sustainable Development and Architecture in Australia and has studied in the Philippines, Thailand and Japan under various international postgraduate and research scholarships. She was trained as an Architect and Urban Planner and managed her own design and consultancy firm prior to her research endeavors in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. She has extensive research and industry experience and has published a number of international referred journals, books and book chapter related to building and urban sustainability. Her research focuses on the green maintainability of green facades, future adaptability of new buildings, adaptive reuse and greening of heritage buildings, and low carbon urban regenerative environments. She advocates the creation of sustainable, healthy and resilient built environments.
